Post-18 Careers Information Evening - Thursday 29 February 2024 -  6.30 – 7.15 pm

We are holding a Post-18 Careers Information Evening for all parents/guardians of students in Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13 on Thursday 29 February 6.30 – 7.15 pm.

The purpose of this event is to gain information about the range of options open to students post-18 years old and will include advice and guidance on the following:

• University - The process of applying to university and advice and guidance on university applications from a representative from The University of Bristol
• Apprenticeships – up to date specialist information on the range of apprenticeships now available and how to apply for these from an apprenticeships specialist representative from ASK Apprenticeships (Western Training Provider Network)
• Labour Market Information – key information about where areas of growth are in terms of employment both locally and nationally to help students make decisions about their future
• Students are welcome to attend this event along with parents/guardians if they wish to.

The event will be held in the MHS Theatre and entrance will be via the main glass doors pupil reception on Cheltenham Road.
