The Schools of Sanctuary (SoS) awards programme recognises and celebrates the organisations and institutions who go above and beyond to foster welcome, compassion and empowering opportunities.

This month we have had the honour of receiving the SoS following assessment by the awards panel. We are very proud to be recognised as a place of safety and refuge for those in need.

Thanks to Mrs White for all of her hard work in moving us towards receiving the award and making opportunities for the voices of those seeking refuge to be heard and connect with the community.

We are excited about the plans we have for the coming months, including celebrating and marking Refugee Week 17-23 June 2024. The theme for Refugee Week 2024 is “Our Home”. From the places we gather to share meals to our collective home, planet earth: everyone is invited to celebrate what our Our Home means to them.
