Students were excited to be able to showcase their musical talents in the recorded pieces for last term's Winterlude. It was disappointing that we were unable to offer our normal live show due to rising covid cases, however Ms Saffin, Mrs Walton, Ms Scrutton and the performers are proud to present a selection of the group festive pieces at the links below.

Pop Choir

Our Pop Choir had met for 30 minutes once a week over the past ten weeks for the rehearsal of a range of different popular songs. Ms Saffin said it was heartening to see the students' enthusiasm, comradery and progress as the weeks went by. She gave a special well done to the Year 7 soloists - Abigail, Sasha, Aleksandra and Yvie.

Senior Choir

The Senior Choir meets for an hour each week and has worked very hard this term, building back confidence to sing in multiple parts and unaccompanied. The students also added a new skill to their repertoire by singing in German and not being conducted.

Senior Choir also recently sang at the Charter Day service at Bristol Cathedral and visited the Merchant Venturers to sing carols before their annual lunch. Ms Walton congratulated all students involved, but in particular to Keisha and Freya for their solos.

Senior Strings
